Pete Wentz has been in the news recently. He is forming a new band which he has named Black Cards. The new lead singer has been announced whose name is Bebe Rexha. Wentz recently spent time in Jamaica and has said the trip has influenced his new band and the way the music will sound.
“It’s a mashing together of ideas  the first few pieces we put up were more big-band/jazz/dance, [but] I don’t know how to describe it. There are a few songs that have more of a reggae swing to the beat. I think I meant that I’m interested in making global music. I like the idea of art transcending cultures and borders … [but] who knows whether I can.” Wentz said in an email to MTV News.
